Our friendly staff are ready to welcome you in English, French, Afrikaans and even a little bit of Dutch!  Our packages can be designed based on one of these languages but all packages are standard in English and French.

Did you know that South Africa has 11 official languages?

All of our packages are designed with safety being our main priority.  Routes and accommodations are carefully selected with this in mind and to the best of our ability.

Like everywhere in the world, cyclists need to share the road with others. For our cycling tours in big groups, we provide a safety vehicle to accompany the tour group and your guide is first aid certified.  A cycling helmet is mandatory.

GRAND PLATEAU Voyage is an inbound tour operator and family-run business based near Cape Town, South Africa.

You will be dealing directly with the head of our company, Antoine Jesson, French native who fell in love with South Africa in 2008 and never looked back.

By his side is his wife, Monique, South African born and ready to give you tips on all the hidden gems the Cape has to offer.

Travelers at heart, we can take you off the beaten track that will put you in the shoes of a local, amongst the locals.

Ndakubona endleleni.

Antoine Jesson

Antoine Jesson

French native, Antoine, a certified tour guide and an avid cyclist who needs no introduction to the world of cycling. Having cycled the volcanic passes of The Reunion Island, the breathtaking Italian Ligure, the steep slopes of the Swiss Alps, the flat and windy roads of the Netherlands, and of course, he followed the routes of the Tour de France, you can expect an “experience extraordinaire”!

Monique Jesson

Monique is the South African of the team. Born near the Garden Route, she will be able to advise you on the places to visit during your free time and will be able to guide your companions when you are out cycling. She is in charge of marketing, contacting and negotiating with our partners. She previously worked in the laboratories of the famous vineyards of the Cape Wine Route and will very eagerly advise you on this subject too!

Not all the paths lead to Hout Bay, only 3 passes: Suikerbossie, Constantia Nek and the majestic Chapman’s Peak.

Hout Bay, also fondly known as the Republic of Hout Bay, is a quiet and safe place, not too far from the buzz of Cape Town. This little fishing village has everything you want and more. Starting from the famous Chapman’s Peak Drive, the most scenic road of the Cape (of the world?), to its relaxing beach and great restaurants. At the busy harbor, you can get the best fish and chips in the area and a side-order of cultural diversity to go! One can also just as easily hop on a boat and take a trip to meet some seals in their natural environment. Hout Bay is a very cozy place and the warmth of its inhabitants will immediately make you feel at home. Our little town was magnificent when the Dutch arrived in the Cape in 1652 and still is 350 years later.
